Mr. Adel current workstream is Insurance and Reinsurance. He is the
Head of the Legal Department of the renowned Bupa Global Insurance where
his experience spans to different areas of insurance and Reinsurance
Law in Egypt and UK. Previously, he was the Regional Chief Legal and
Compliance Officer of Chubb Life Insurance the biggest Property and
Casualty company all over the world. Also, he was the Head of Legal and
Compliance Department at Tokio Marine General Egypt a renowned Japanese
insurance company.

Mr. Adel has more than 15 years of experience
in the financial Sector includes Banking and Non-Banking sectors. He has
various experiences in Banking and Finance, Corporate Governance &
Compliance matters, General Corporate Dispute Resolution and Commercial
Contracts. He used to advise the board and management about many
strategic legal business plans. He has broad knowledge of insurance
practise in the Egyptian market. His role encompasses distinct aspects
of legal practise in different jurisdictions includes Egypt, Saudi
Arabia, and the UAE.

Also he worked for the legal department of the biggest private bank in Egypt, the Commercial
International Bank (CIB). He was involved in a wide variety of
corporate law project finance, banking laws, and debt restructuring. And
finally Mr. Adel worked for renowned law firms like, Crowell &
Moring LLP, Cairo Office, and Matouk
Bassiouny Law Firm where his main area of practise was Islamic Finance.
He advised clients on transactions and disputes involving the
commercial laws and regulations of many Middle Eastern countries,
including Egypt, the UAE, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and Libya.
